World Gin Day has been and gone for 2011, and what a day it was! I personally was in London for lunch and afternoon drinks and then escaped back to Birmingham to host a party. Needless to say it was a busy day, especially with running all the competitions on Twitter and Facebook and interacting with the posts.
So, as I write this it’s World Gin Day eve and over the last 24 hours a few competitions have been run on Twitter and Facebook, and even more are to come.
A while ago, or more precisely over a year ago, when YetAnotherGin was just setup we decided to declare a day World Gin Day.
There was no reason, we just happen to like Gin, we know others do, so we thought we could cajole our fellow Gin loving comrades into having a bit of a tipple.
